That harvest table! Just one more scone!
I don’t think I could have asked for a better “1st Wedding of the new season” than the one I got with Cherise and Chris. Bohemian inspired by Cherise with Persian carpets and boho touches was the order of the day for this wedding.
There are some special moments during a wedding, the first look with dad, bridesmaids, walking down the aisle, who doesn’t love the confetti, but the couple shoot, there is no other part of the wedding that I absolutely LOVE! And we were undecided for the location for their couple shoot, but when Cherise and Chris decided on Robberg Nature Reserve, I just knew we would get banger after BANGER! Even though we fought gale force winds, I don’t think I have ever been this scared to stand on an edge, but we do it for the photos!
Cherise and Chris, there is a certain something something about the two of you, I have had a week or so to think of the word or words, but I haven’t found them yet. It’s special. It’s real. Unfiltered. Watching the two of you during your couple shoot, made me laugh whenever Cherise laughed and teasing Chris about how “easy” he was. But when I started editing, I felt really happy every photo transported me back to the “Himalayas” and those special goosebump moments of seeing your folks shed a tear at the ceremony, these are special moments that you might not have seen during the day but were witnessed during editing.
Thank you for the teary eyes, the belly laughs, hair in the face, photographing freak out moments (bangers!), let’s do that again, that AWESOME harvest table, the hugs, those scary dance moves, that dessert table and waffles that I am still bummed that I didn’t steal 1000 of, but most of all, thank you for sharing your forever day with me.
