When everything is just BANGING
I honestly don’t know what to say about this wedding. I photographed Iavanie and Andre’s engagement shoot the week before on Robberg Nature Reserve and I honestly didn’t think it could get any better, well roll seven days on and they created this magic at Emily Moon.
Iavanie you were probably one of the most chilled out brides ever, like nothing phased you and you were more concerned about me at times (apparently I was very serious! LOL)! You made us all feel so welcomed calling Kate, asshole (her nickname) and giving Chanel (new assistant) her work nickname of Dirt Bag, thank you for saving me the time to create one for her.
Your day screamed you and Andre over and over and over again. The details of your dress, your very raw moment between you and your dad, adding Blanche to the mix was really special to not only capture but to be part of that moment. The green ties and green bridesmaid’s dresses (I freakin love that colour), the earthy tones of your reception decor, the simplicity of your wedding cake and can we take a moment to talk about all the tears when you walked down the aisle. I don’t think I have EVER seen so many tears and can we also take a moment to appreciate that no one took out a cell phone, tablet, camera or any other recording device during your ceremony. Thank you!
Iavanie, dude, THANK you for trusting us to capture your day. Even though Blanche (her sister and AMAZING photographer and human) was present. I know that she only wanted the best for you and I really hope we did a Blanche standard!
Iavanie and Andre, the mermaid and her teddy bear. Guys I don’t know what to say about you two. Have there ever been two more perfect people for each other? You complement each other so well. And I cant wait for when you start building on your Plett property, I am coming over for a gin, a laugh, doggy cuddles and more gin.
