Poetic Justice, I say.
The long awaited wedding finally happened, I have been through Katrina & Stuart’s plans from the start and once we did their engagement shoot, I just knew that these are “totally different” and I DIG it!
Katrina you must have been one of my most relaxed brides and as you floated around the “getting ready room”, drinking champagne and chatting about the day’s proceedings you would have thought you were planning a relaxing holiday. The fun and games while you got in your dress, I am still giggling as I type this. Some words must never be repeated! Stuart you are one of the kindest and gentle of gentlemen. Your speech preparations and your face as Katrina walked down the aisle was so sweet, I even had to put my camera down, just to get glimpse “in real life”. Your hand fastening ceremony was absolutely awesome, even though the rings were forgotten, but then remembered! (:
I honestly don’t think your day could have gone any better, everything was colourful and had your stamps plastered all over the decor (what felt like 400 duckies everywhere), the cake, the piñata, those special speeches and what was that first dance!
Katrina & Stuart thank you showing me that love is just that, love.
In real life, shouldn’t a wedding be an awesome party you throw with your great pal, in the presence of a bunch of your other friends? A great day, for sure, but not the beginning and certainly not the end of your friendship with a person you can’t wait to talk about gardening with for the next forty years – Mindy Kaling
