When you feel like you are photographing your other family.
I feel that Sam, Jaco and I have walked a little walk. I only met Sam when we did the same exercise class, and we stood on other sides of the class and never really chatted. Somehow she saw I was a photographer and liked my work. Sammy mailed me to see my availability to shoot her and Jaco’s wedding. After a few coffee dates as the classics say, the rest is history.
I feel so lucky to have photographed so many amazing life milestones of the Krugers. Their wedding, their beautiful dogs Rocky and Rufus, her gender reveal, the maternity and all the little moments in-between, even if its with an iPhone.
Sammy and Jaco, thank you for always supporting me not just as a photographer but as friends too.
I can’t wait for the fourth and I can’t wait to celebrate and create more magical moments with you three, nearly four!
