Drinking coffee at your wedding ceremony – earned my respect and instant legendary status!
Lizani and Peter, wow! What a ceremony, what a couple, what a venue and what was the wind all about?
Lizani, there are no words to describe how beautiful and radiant you looked and when you walked down that aisle and you and your dad saw your mum and you stopped for a kiss and a few words, I still keep going back to that photo. The three of you communicated through your eyes and smiles and it is honestly, just real. Peter, from the day you phoned me from China, you had a vision and you updated me regularly on what was happening and where (with photos!). I don’t think I have ever had a groom that was so involved, I hope when you took a minute and looked around, your vision became reality. From my side it was absolutely stunning.
Even though we had to fight being sand blasted on the beach, crossing the lagoon, hiking up Pig’s Head and nearly blown off when we got to the top, your attitude remained positive and we made the best of what we had and I am already planning my next hike up Pig’s Head (when there is NO wind).
Thank you for trusting me to be part of your love story.
We’re all a little weird. And life is a little weird. And when we find someone whose weirdness is compatible with ours, we join up with them and fall into mutually satisfying weirdness–and call it love–true love – Robert Fulghum
