Shannon and Dusty’s engagement shoot at Keurboomstrand was a testament to patience, perseverance, and perfect timing. After having to postpone their session three times, we finally got together on a stunning winter afternoon that made it all worth the wait. With their beach wedding at Grand Africa Lookout Beach in Plettenberg Bay on the horizon, this shoot was the perfect prelude to what promises to be an unforgettable day.
The moment we hit the beach, it was clear that this session was going to be something special. Shannon and Dusty were full of energy and excitement, ready to make the most of the beautiful afternoon. The winter light was soft and golden, casting a warm glow over everything, and the beach was just the right mix of serene and playful.
We started with a relaxed walk along the shoreline, letting them soak in the scenery and each other. But it wasn’t long before their playful sides took over, and they were running up and down the beach, kicking up sand, and laughing as the waves lapped at their feet. The joy they felt was contagious, and it was impossible not to get swept up in the fun.
No celebration is complete without a little champagne, and Shannon and Dusty made sure to bring the party with them. As the sun dipped lower in the sky, they popped the cork and let the bubbles fly. As the sun set on our session, the sky painted in hues of pink, it was clear that this shoot had been well worth the wait.
